“This scholarship means a lot to me on a personal level because having autism is something I would rather embrace than belittle myself for. Applying for this scholarship is quite special for someone on this spectrum like me because it means that I do have something to prove, that I do have self-worth in this life. In a crazy world like this, everybody has something to prove, whether we’re the same or not we still have something to prove. My plans after graduation are to go to a four-year university (MSU Denver) and to pursue broadcasting to work behind the scenes editing videos.”
