“My goal is to becoming a neurologist to help disadvantaged individuals who don’t get to experience the same opportunities as others because of their neurological disability. Growing up, my uncle had frequent seizures as well as epilepsy, and has missed out on a lot of activities and opportunities because of it. I want to become a neurologist so I can ensure such individuals don’t miss out on life just because of their disability. This scholarship is important to me because it will allow me to successfully accomplish my goals, as becoming a neurologist and all of the schooling it requires takes a lot of devotion and financial commitment. I am beyond delighted to have received this scholarship and for the advantage it will give me with working towards my future career ambitions.”
