“As a daughter of two immigrants, life has always been hard for us due to the underpayment of their jobs. Up to this day, we are still struggling financially and it seems hardly impossible for me to even think about going to college without having to stress about the amount of money we will have to pay. This scholarship is very important to me because it’s helping me and my family relieve some of the stress that we have of paying for my education. This scholarship not only helps me relieve that stress but it also motivates me to work harder and give back to my community in the future.”
