We appreciate our individual donors!

Donating a charitable gift of stock or mutual fund shares is a great way to impact the lives of APS students. Stock or mutual fund donations can be particularly attractive if they have increased in value—you will receive a charitable deduction for the value of the donated shares, and you will not have to pay any capital gains tax on the increased value of the donated shares.

If you are giving a security, please verify with your broker that the security is eligible for electronic delivery over the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system. Download the full instructions here.

Please note that our policy states we must liquidate all donations of securities as soon as possible. The date of your gift is the date on which your electronic transfer is received into the APS Foundation account. The tax-deductible value of your gift is the average share price on the date of your gift multiplied by the number of shares given.

Many companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions by offering employee matching gift programs. Ask your employer if they match your charitable contributions. If so, complete your employer’s paperwork and notify us. We’ll take care of the rest!

You can support APS students by remembering the life of a loved one. In lieu of flowers, you can request that your loved one is remembered through a memorial gift.

Gifts can be made online, and a simple box can be checked to indicate the gift is in memory of someone. We will send a memorial card to the family.

Memorial gifts can also be made by check payable to Aurora Public Schools Foundation. In the memo or note portion of the check, each donor should write “Memorial Gift”. In return, we will provide you with a memorial card that you can forward on to the family. Send all checks to the address below.

Checks can be sent individually OR they can be collected and sent together.
