Supporting your journey

In an effort to make postsecondary education more affordable, Aurora Public Schools Foundation provides scholarships to students pursuing higher education. The robust student scholarship program is created through the generosity of individuals, families and organizations throughout our community.

Please check back with us in August 2026 for information about 2026-27 scholarships.

Since 2013, we have provided more than $650,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.

Sandrine Iradukunda is a Hinkley High School alumni and current student at Colorado State University! Sandrine was a recipient of the 2024 Aurora Public Schools Foundation Scholarship.

Coming from a single-parent immigrant family, education is not taken lightly. Every day when I look at how hard my mother has worked bringing six people from a war-drenched and poverty-stricken country to this country barely speaking English, I am reminded of how grateful I should be for the opportunities that I have been given. Especially the opportunity for an education and the fact that I have been offered this scholarship.

Receiving this scholarship is not only a financial relief for me but also an affirmation of my hard work and dedication to my academic and personal goals. Your belief in my potential motivates me to continue striving for excellence in my studies and endeavors. I am so grateful for your generosity and belief in my potential.

Just as I have not taken lightly the education that I have been given I will not take this scholarship lightly either.
